I’m following up on yesterday’s post with another picture that is similar yet worlds apart. Both pictures take place at the doorway. However, while yesterday’s photo is a puzzling interaction through a metal security gate, a nearly prison-like scene, today’s shows a warm interaction.

These two women are having a moment. They appear to be friends or are they neighbors?

While the architecture is worn, like many in Old Town Havana, it is glorious. Generous, solid, and ornate wood doors surrounded by classically styled pillars. Look at the metal date next door, ornate and old-world. It may also function as a security gate, but does so in an artistic way.
