A few days ago, I introduced the portraits of Daniela by the doorway. They were solid portraits, though not particularly dynamic, and I mentioned that in the post.
These portraits of Daniela by the automobile are more interesting, or at least more unique. In a nod to Cuba’s famous classic car reputation, the organizers hired a car for a short time. The portrait session with the other two models continued inside the building, and only Daniel was available outside. I grabbed a few shots. Just a few minutes. I would’ve enjoyed an extended session to figure out a better angle. However, I managed to frame the model, enough of the car, and the surrounding architecture adequately.
We shot this outside the ornate old-world restaurant that I featured in the last few posts. You can just make out its name on the sign on the upper right, La Guarida.
