After a brief snow detour we are back to downtown Austin architecture. I jumped over to the west side around sunset, where I captured the subtle but colorful light bouncing off the buildings.
In this latest downtown series, I’m using my Fujifilm GFX 50R with the tilt-shift adapted Mamiya 35mm f3.5. I used it here and some additional software to correct any backward lean in the buildings.
Every single skyscraper here, except for one office building, is a residential tower. All of them have been built within the last decade or so. Some are apartments, and some are condominiums. There is a gap in the skyline near the middle where you might be able to make out a small dome. That’s the Texas State Capitol. Now greatly overshadowed by the booming Austin real estate.
