In this long and winding Cuba blog post series, I’m sure it’s hard to remember what day of the trip I’m on. I even forget. Believe it or not, we’re still on the second day, though we’ve finally gotten to our nighttime activity.
We taxied to a fascinating place called Fabrica de Arte Cuba, a combination of art museum, restaurant, bar, club, fashion show, concert hall, and more. There were many activities under one roof in this converted, old cooking factory.
I quickly snapped this picture as I got out of the taxi. I should have slowed down and used a slower shutter speed to rely on the in-body image stabilization, because it was dark. My casual snap at 1/40 second at f2.8 bumped the ISO to 10,000. Bringing up the shadows produced a fair amount of noise. AI Noise reduction to the rescue via Topaz PhotoAI. It made for a usable or blog-able photo.
