I found Diamela waiting patiently offstage or at the back of the stage, behind the curtain, for her chance to pose. I first caught her unaware, looking at her phone.
Once she realized I was taking pictures, she gradually shifted into more formal poses. However, in this post, I focus on natural looks.
The very stylized pose of Kamy on stage that I featured yesterday was certainly more dramatic. But I like these quiet behind-the-scenes pictures too. The non-posed captures of the unsuspecting model. It’s the street photographer in me that likes candids over the elaborately formal.
