We haven’t seen Claudia since the first portrait session. Unfortunately, she got hit with a bug that put her out of commission for a few days. This wasn’t unusual, and one of the downsides of Cuba. You need to be extra careful about drinking bottled water. However, even then, you might still end up with something unwanted in your food.

On the morning of the fifth day, Claudia recovered enough to have breakfast sitting with Scott, the instructor. The warm light and even warmer smile were a great sight to see.

I shot many behind-the-scenes photos, which I shared with the group, and there wasn’t that much overlap between the photos I featured on the blog and the more private ones with the participants. There were many happy scenes of group interaction and breaking bread together. The street photography was excellent, as was the making of portraits of models. Still, the group interactions and friendships were up there in fond memories.
