Of all the neon from Memphis that I’ve posted, this is my favorite. I love the sign — up close and bold.

Because I zoomed into the sign, the exposure looks great too. It’s not washed out like the neon that’s part of the cityscapes. I find neon to be deceptively difficult to shoot, if you don’t zoom in. Its vibrant colors are easily over exposed.
