I’ve talked for the last several days about the KR Market, and we are finally there. Or at least at the periphery. The fruit stands, featured here, were already a visual delight. It gets even better and there’s more to come over the next couple of days.
I haven’t figured out why, but some photographs look more pictorial to me. And by pictorial, I mean more like paintings and less like photographs. Perhaps it’s the colors, or the subject. Maybe this old-world feel resembles an illustration that I saw in my distant past.
While I’m fond of the photograph, I figured that I’ll take that idea and run with it. By using Topaz Studio software, I tried to create a picture that matches my “vision”. As part of my Art-ish series, here’s a bunch of variations. My favorite is the first one, with its colorful simplification.
What do you think? Do you have a favorite?

I’d say the first example. The scene is already quite busy and there isn’t a strong clear subject, at least to my eyes. The other renderings increase the “noise” of the scene into a visual cacophony.
Thanks Mike. We agree. Though visual cacophony is a good way to describe this area.
Indeed! I’m not sure I’d be as comfortable in that crowd as you.
Even I wasn’t comfortable at times.
