Automobile Cinematic – Bangalore, India

I featured a few photos out of car windows during my recent travels in India — its great fun. Not only because it’s a vastly different country compared to the U.S., but also because there is so much happening on the street. Today, I’m back with my wide-angle Cinematics, created by a special process using RAW photos shot on my Canon G7X Mark II.

This was Sunday, in the late afternoon, only 11 hours since I arrived in India. I did an hour photowalk around the hotel, then in the afternoon I shot street photography around the KR Market. Now we were on route from the market to an area of Bangalore called Malleshwaram.

The distance from the KR Market to Malleshwaram is only about 3 1/2 miles. It took about 30 minutes. Such is traffic in Bangalore, even on the weekend. But, Malleshwaram is a busy shopping district, like KR Market, only different. We were on the way to another photography event, but more on that over the next few posts.

For today, enjoy the view out the car window. The wide-angle format gives a slightly more immersive feel. Click on the photos, for a larger view.

  1. Just went through the India gallery. Love the contrasts, vibrant colors, and the way you captured the sea of humanity there, including some beautiful portraits! Well done!
