Yesterday, I talked briefly about the Helix Bridge, which appeared as a red design element on the left side of the photograph. As you can see, I made it all the way there, creating a few urban landscapes of this photogenic bridge.
There are certainly larger cities, but Singapore has a plethora of architectural details that make it a haven for urban landscapes. The urban design entices one to keep on walking, exploring, and shooting. I only had two short nights to take photos, but I knew there was a nearly infinite number of angles to capture.
The architects were wise to design multiple viewing platforms that jut out from the bridge — perfect for sightseeing and photography. It’s also easy to make exterior closeups, a feature that I haven’t seen on any other bridge.

It’s a bridge but what type (pedestrian, train, vehicles) and from where to where?
It’s a pedestrian only bridge that spans a canal. It helps complete a perimeter around the bay.
Interesting design and colouration. Love it.
It is a very nice bridge.
