Cozy Cone Motel, Disney California Adventure – Anaheim, California

I took a picture of the actual Cozy Cone Motel but opted to showcase the more attractive neon sign instead. In the background, you can see the brilliant neon of Flo’s V8 Cafe, which was the subject of yesterday’s post.

The Cozy Cone featured traffic cones in keeping with the automotive them of the Cars movies. It is based on the Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, Arizona. Also located on Route 66, the cone shape closely resembles the wigwam, a native American structure.

The neon sign is adorned by seasonal Christmas decor. You can see only a few people in the background. As I mentioned previously, making these pictures just minutes before the big World of Color show allowed for minimal crowds with fewer visual distractions.
