Guacamole Motion Blur – San Antonio, Texas

I don’t know if it’s a thing in San Antonio. But this is the second restaurant that I’ve been to, in the last couple of months, that serves fresh table-made guacamole. It’s a perfect appetizer and healthy to boot. It’s made primarily of avocados mixed with tomatoes, onions, and other seasonings. It’s Mexican food that has gone mainstream in Texas and has rapidly spread beyond.

On our big graduation day dinner celebration, we ordered six of these. The waiters prepared them at both ends of the long table. My position on the parents’ side afforded me a front-row photographic opportunity.

I purposely slowed down the shutter just enough to induce some motion blur. I thought it would give a more dynamic look to the preparation.
