Continuing with my observations around the mall, I noticed these women making their selections for lunch. This was at a Sushi place in the restaurant section on the third floor.
The Fuji X-E3 is small and inconspicuous enough to work well as a street photography camera. It doesn’t look professional or imposing. The focusing speed is more than adequate though it’s a touch slower than Fuji’s latest cameras.
I generally prefer primes instead of zooms. They are quicker and better for action in lower light. However, the 15-45mm zoom worked well here. First, it wasn’t very dark. Also, I zoomed to the maximum 67.5mm equivalent to frame this shot — a longer focal length than usual. I was just casually walking around in the mall and wasn’t in serious street photography mode. A slow but versatile zoom fit my needs.
