Aloha on Wheels - Honolulu, Hawaii

Aloha on Wheels – Honolulu, Hawaii

We went to Pearl Harbor on our most recent Hawaii visit. My son’s friend who came with us — his first time trip to Hawaii — wanted to go. And, it’s been a while since we visited. Renting cars was a hassle and was very expensive, so we opted to take the convenient route. A tourist package via a bus.

I was expecting a modest shuttle and was surprised by the size. However, Pearl Harbor is a popular destination, and we picked up passengers from a few Waikiki destinations before heading out.

I love the company’s Aloha on Wheels slogan. Aloha is a Hawaiian word used when greeting or parting from someone. It can also mean love, affection, compassion, kindness, and grace. The Aloha spirit or greeting is often used as a friendly marketing term. I find the word welcoming and fitting the spirit of the islands.
