I featured candid monochrome portraits for the last few days. I’m continuing with some color portraits of others I met in Hawaii. First up, Chef Andrew, master of the hand-pulled noodles.
My Hawaii coverage has been going on for a while. In early December last year, I talked about my visit to the Kaka’ako Farmers Market. There, my wife and I experienced some remarkably tasty Asian noodles. I even blogged about it.
Today, a candid portrait of the Chef. Andrew studied at a culinary school in New York City. Making it out to Hawaii and decided to open his own booth. He featured hand-made and hand-pulled noodles boiled on location. With a choice of several sauces, it was quite an experience. We loved it so much that we went to the farmers market two weekends in a row for his cooking.
Highly recommended. Check out Youpo Noodles Instagram for details.
