I saw a lot of pointing fingers at the Edge observation platform. It’s human nature to point especially at engrossing views. Psychologists say it takes a certain amount of intelligence to point out and understand pointing. Most animals don’t understand it. Dogs seem to as well as elephants.
The views were great, and I certainly captured some. Photography-wise, documenting people’s reactions was even better — an unexpected opportunity in street photography.
We are looking south again. The Hudson River separates Manhattan Island from New Jersey. New York has a more substantial skyline, but the buildings on the other side are growing impressively.
