As you can see, I made it to the airport for my flight home to Austin, Texas. I even got there early so that I could shoot the architecture of this revamped facility.
The much-maligned LaGuardia was undergoing a series of renovations that added much-needed updates. They’ve successfully elevated the airport from 3rd world status to something up-to-date. I wouldn’t put it on par with the newest Asian airports. However, it’s successful as a domestic-only facility.
I’m back shooting with the Fujifilm GFX 50S II, giving a smooth monochrome rendering. I like the timeless look with the clean and understated interior.
