I’ve zig-zagged down Las Vegas Blvd as I marched southward, crossing from the west sidewalk to the east and back again. After walking past the modest accommodations of Planet Hollywood, I cross the pedestrian bridge to The Cosmopolitan.
As you can tell, The Cosmopolitan is significantly upscale compared to Planet Hollywood. It’s bordered on the south by City Center’s collection of high-end modern towers. Architecturally, it’s my favorite part of the Las Vegas Strip. Not necessarily because of the fanciness, but because I like fantastic modern architecture.
The wide-angle 24mm equivalent created nice leading lines of the bridge pointing to the heart of the hotel. I set the color balance to a cooler tone to give it a more futuristic vibe.
