Continuing with the observations of upscale retail on Bahnhofstrasse, I got my first look at Genesis Studio. Genesis is the luxury division of Hyundai, similar to the relationship of Lexus to Toyota.
Like the rest of the shops on this high-end street, the studio was closed. I would’ve loved to take a look inside. Not because I’m looking for a car but because I enjoy experiencing the interior designs of fancy brands that try to influence the psychology of a shopper.
We don’t have a Genesis Studio in Austin, and I couldn’t find one in Texas. I could buy a Genesis in Austin, but it’s from a Hyundai dealer. If I pay the big bucks for a luxury car, I want the complete luxury experience. I’m not convinced that a typical Hyundai dealer can deliver.

I do like your efforts at street photography. I also appreciate your results “Window Shopping” as I call it. I took like to photograph store front windows and the objects inside. Which is something not a lot of people do, or at least choose to share. But it really can convey the flavor of the area you are visiting.

Thank you for your kind words, PaulB. Not every store window is worth a photo or a blog post, but some are beautiful. And, as you mentioned, the window displays do convey the character of this Zurich neighborhood.
