I happened on an unusual store for my last retail exploration from Bahnhofstrasse, but it was something of our time. The bold and graphic circular design attracted my attention, and I didn’t know what kind of business this was.

I snapped the picture and continued on Bahnhofstrasse, finding more familiar and traditional retail establishments. Looking up Giada Ilardo, I discovered they sell jewelry, which is not unusual. But also feature high-end tattoos catering to women. Their website featured delicate florals, among other intricate designs.

Small, edgy, and neon-covered shops come to mind when I think of tattoo parlors. Not at all like the elegant showroom shown here. The current generations think differently about tattoos, and this store caters to a more upscale approach.
