I knew there were many tall West Campus towers under construction. Still, I was floored when I visited the University of Texas campus earlier this year. Many are private and fancy dorms for students.
This vantage point is one example. In the foreground is the student union building on the western edge of campus. Across the street is the Co-op, a store selling books and clothing for students. A few blocks away are these shiny new modern towers.
When I first arrived on campus, the lighting was rather dull, so I converted those images to black and white at the start of the series. As the sun set and the lighting improved, I switched to color. Notice the artificial lights and their added warm glow.
