With extensive coverage using my Leica D-Lux 8 for the last couple of months, I’m moving on to a new series. I’ve proven that the D-Lux 8 is a capable take-anywhere camera that will work wonderfully for EDC and travel.
I’m reaching back into my archive from 2021. After leaving Austin, I snapped this picture over Colorado as I flew from Denver to Montrose.
I was exclusively shooting Fujifilm back then, and I brought my X-E3 with the Fujifilm 15-45mm f3.5-5.6, which I used to shoot this picture. I also brought a long telephoto for the X-System and my first medium-format, Fujifilm GFX 50R. I’m going to feature pictures you don’t see often on this blog. Given that we are in Colorado, I’ll leave it to your imagination of what kind of genre I was shooting.
