After an afternoon photowalk and an exploration of Old Havana, we were finally back at the casa for dinner. Pre-dinner drink? No problem. There was a rooftop bar that could accommodate your wishes.
This is the same place they gave us our welcome drink. At night, however, it took on a magical glow.
I had switched to my Sony 50mm f1.4 attached to the A7C for low-light photography. At f/1.4, it creates a dreamy effect in the out-of-focus areas, while the focus point remains sharp. It’s a fantastic lens. The depth of field is not extreme despite the large aperture because I was further away. Get in closer, and you can really blur out the background.
