I wasn’t the only participant on this Cuba trip making street photos. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at someone else in the group in action. She’s using her Canon with a beefy lens, the Canon 28-70mm f2, if I remember correctly. Some others used a point-and-shoot and their smartphones. However, most of the group were not interested in street photography. I don’t get it. But to each their own.
I carried two cameras with me: the Sony A7C II and the A7C, both small full-frame cameras. To date, most of my street photos have been taken with the A7C II and the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens. On the A7C, I attached a super-wide-angle lens, the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8, which I used to make this picture at 20mm.
There’s been a lot of street photography. Still, we reached our venue during our long walk, and the coverage of the portraits I made is finally about to start tomorrow.
