Our last activity at Fabrica de Arte Cuba was a concert. I stayed on the 2nd-floor balcony to get this great view of the stage and the audience below. Having the 24-70mm zoom was useful, allowing me to frame multiple ways. The picture up top is at 61mm.
Zooming out to the widest 24mm setting reveals the venue and the packed audience, as shown below. It was dark, but not oppressively so. I managed acceptable ISO 1600 to 3200 photos with my f/2.8 aperture. The stage was nicely lit with changing colors. It was at least on par and probably better than the smaller bars and music venues you have in Austin.
We weren’t out late; we had an action-packed day planned for the next day. The venue was in full swing when we left. This post marks the end of my second day in Cuba, believe it or not. We packed a lot of activities into a short time.
