I continued my exploration of Old Havana alone. With all the official portrait sessions from the trip completed with no scheduled activities, I had a comfortable ease. Making portraits of models was fun, but it was alien territory that made me a bit uneasy—fear of the unknown. Now, all was lifted. Plus, after nearly a week in Havana, I was more familiar with the area.
I felt more comfortable asking for street portraits, moving away from strictly architecture.
This guy was great. A pedicab driver relaxing, waiting for his next fair. It wasn’t me, but he gave me a great pose.
