We are still in an airport, but not in Charlotte. I arrived at my destination, New York City. I’ve been to NYC many times and have featured it on the blog multiple times, but the last time was four years ago. Here’s my complete NYC series from 2022. That was when I attended my 40th High School Reunion.

These pictures are from last year, taken on a trip with my wife. The city is big enough that I’ll show different scenes, though with the inevitable overlap, because while the city has a lot to offer, my photographic interests are fairly constant. The cameras I used on the two trips are very different, however. Something I’ll talk about later.

I’ve seen this futuristic noodle bar before in the newly renovated LaGuardia Airport. They’ve done a great job rebuilding the airport, and it’s no longer the embarrassing eyesore that it was a decade ago. Construction began in 2016; the first terminal opened in 2022, and the entire project was completed in 2024.
