I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to The Oasis, a tourist extravaganza west of Austin, high atop Lake Travis. The super sized complex is a little like Las Vegas, with its plethora of statues and overly kitschy decor. But there’s a fantastic view and a great place to take out-of-towners, like we did today.

It’s the kind of place where we kick back and celebrate the sunset with a gentle cheer and clapping. Shot with my Panasonic ZS50 at 24mm equivalent. Part of my Photo Sketchbook Collection.
