I snapped these in New Orleans while mesmerized. No, I wasn’t drinking. Rather, I was attracted by the color, the glow of lights and intricate details. I was in my element, shooting colorful interiors at night.
Until I did some forensics, I didn’t even remember where I exactly shot these. It turned out both are on Bourbon Street. I zoomed in, found clues and guessed at the name of the bars. A quick Google image search offered visual confirmation. Many people on Bourbon Street may get lost and forget the details because of over imbibing, I was just high on photography.
Today’s post is similar to this one from about a month and half ago. I shot those with my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II with the 12-40 Pro lens. These were with the Olympus PEN-F with the 9-18 wide-angle, which works better to capture leading lines and the wide sweep of the bar.
