Evan was controlling access to the rear door, which was the entrance to the podcast room at the Vox Media event at SXSW. Like Julieta, yesterday, Evan was also working for the venue, instead of Vox, though you can see she was sporting one of their t-shirts.

Vox Media was there three days, of which I attended two. During that time, I watch a couple of podcasts as part of the audience. The big one, which I could have attended, but opted not to, was with Melinda Gates. Melinda, along with Bill, of Microsoft fame, heads the Gates Foundation.

I did watch parts of other podcasts, which were shown live on multiple giant TVs. I also hung out, had a few drinks, chatted with attendees and, of course, took pictures. Podcasts and other activities can be interesting, but you probably know, for me, nothing beats photography.
