I ended up staying late, past eleven at the Diwali festival. I was talking to people I first met at my film development class, including the instructor, Anthony. The families with kids in tow, had gone home. The food stalls and tents, rapidly being dismantled. On my walk to the parking lot, I notice this.
The lone tent stood quiet and glowing. Its original purpose fulfilled and now irrelevant. It beckoned me.
I pulled out my Olympus PEN-F set in the usual back and white. The trusty in-body image stabilization always assisting, shooting at 1/8 of a second. I post processed the RAW file and with extra cleanup, created this glowing remnant in a sea of black.
