Back in the white and narrow hallways of the main studio area, I did a quick walk-by and took two photos, one close and this one, even closer. I captured this couple unobtrusively.

This is, of course, a black and white photo. However, looking at the original color RAW reveals that, in fact, they are both wearing all black — hence the name of the post. Like the hallway group portrait from a week ago, this one is also at maximum contrast.

This quick photo is not perfect, as I successfully focused on the woman but the man was left a little soft. While I usually don’t need to worry much about shallow depth of field with micro 4/3, at these close distances, it’s a factor. Especially when shot at an aperture of f1.6.
