While I’ve been dabbling and pushing into creative endeavors, I’m at heart a nerd who likes gadgets and advanced technology. For that reason, it was fun being in the audience of the Vergecast, a gadget and technology podcast from The Verge.

I was at the front and made photos of the four hosts, like I did last year, but, I thought it was more interesting to feature the audience instead. They used the outdoor stage this year netting considerably more space for this popular show.

You also get a good overview of The Belmont, which was the Vox Media venue and my central hub for the three days around SXSW. And, while I spent good part of my time there, I did explore downtown, which I’ll feature in my next set of posts.
