Yesterday, I mentioned the river cruise that I went on a couple of weeks ago. It was a dinner cruise with a very Austin menu of beef and chicken fajitas. We opted to stay on the lower level, sealed from the elements and nicely air-conditioned, even though the upper deck was breezy on a cooler than usual evening. A jazz trio played in the corner.
The dinner music added a nice ambiance to the food and festivities. It was a delightful evening. Of course, I took some pictures.
What looks like the inside of a house is actually the boat. I made several frames at different exposures, but I like this one. It was exposed brightly, and the view out the window rendered as a glow. It’s a cheerful image of soft, smooth jazz. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the band. The woman did mention that they often played on these boat cruises and have done so for many years.
