I finally made it to Singapore, on the blog that is. I took this photo in December 2018, right after I left India. With my India coverage complete, I’m picking up where I left off. I’ve talked about starting my Singapore blog coverage for a while on my newsletter, and we’re finally here.
I left Bangalore on a red-eye flight and arrived five hours later in the morning. I was lucky enough to get this spectacular view of downtown, but have to apologize for a rather marginal photograph. It required a lot of torturous post-processing to make it look even this good — the original was a rather dim, muted, and gray.
As you’ll see from the upcoming coverage, Singapore is quite the contrast from India. Coming from a developing country to one of the most advanced is certainly a jolt. I find both countries interesting, but for different reasons. You should notice a big change in my photographic subjects.
