As I mentioned yesterday, I’m starting a new series. It will cover my winter holiday trip to Southern California in December 2019. Other than a few early teaser photos on my newsletter, I have yet to curated those images. It’s been interesting looking through a collection that I haven’t seen in over a year.
Gear-wise, I brought three cameras: the Canon G7X Mark II, the Fujifilm X-T10, and the Olympus E-M5 Mark II. I took 2,014 photos in total, making 676 with the Canon, 632 with the Fuji, and 706 with the Olympus. The pictures include family snapshots and some blog-worthy observations.
There were some things that I totally forgot, even though I was excited about them back then. A year ago never felt so long ago. One of these items was Star Wars. I’ve always been a fan. Back in December 2019, the last movie, Episode 9, was just arriving. I was also looking forward to visiting the Star Wars land at Disney.
United Airlines was doing a co-marketing campaign, as you can see here. Of course, I saw the movie with my boys. My quick review? I give it a Big Meh.
