This cup and saucer ride is called the Mad Tea Party, named after the Unbirthday Party scene in Alice in Wonderland. It’s one of the opening day attractions at Disneyland originating from 1955.
I snapped this picture with the Canon G7X Mark II, slightly underexposed. The result is this rather moody and mysterious image that I like.
I brought 3 cameras on my trip to Southern California, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II, the Canon G7X Mark II, and the Fujifilm X-T10. Fuji has dominated the blog coverage. The Olympus had a super-wide lens for special situations. However, between the Canon and the Fuji, which shared a similar focal length, I used the Fuji pictures most of the time. The image quality was significantly better. This Mad Tea Party scene was one of the few exceptions.
