For the past few days, I’ve talked about my concert photography. It was a fun Precision Camera and Fujifilm event at The Ballroom @ Spider House. I won’t bore you with more concert photographs, but I do have blue hour photos.
During the concert, I ducked outside and shot a few during my favorite time of the day. The nether-world between daylight and nighttime, just after sunset. Here we have the front of the Ballroom with a touch of neon and some glowing lights. They stand out effectively against the black wall. At the top, a sliver of blue hour goodness.
You can also see the concert poster with the headlining Tiarra Girls. I did my best to center and preserve the symmetry. My moderate wide-angle lens forced me as far back as I could go. Any further, and I would be in the street with the fence in the way. Sometimes you need a real wide-angle. Something that I didn’t have that night.
