After some quick posts at the Manet exhibit, we are off to something more my style. I lucked out with the True Grit exhibit, which took place between October 2019 and January 2020. They featured both prints and photographs from 1900 to 1950.
Most, if not all, were monochromatic. With the simple frames and mats, they are more in keeping with my modern aesthetic. The impressionistic Manet with the over-the-top baroque frames overload my senses.
I waited for someone to talk past to create the extra bit of photographic interest. Shot at 1/8 of a second with the Fuji X-T10. The in-lens image stabilization isn’t as rock-steady as the Olympus. However, it got the job done.
