I have a guilty feeling when I feature sunset photographs — though I do it on occasion. It can be a trope of the vacation snapshot shooters. When I do post one, I try to add a non-touristy spin along with an excuse. That’s the situation for today.
Though not an imminent sunset, the sun was rapidly falling in the west. I created a silhouette of structural plants and framed the sun within the crook of a branch.
I suppose it’s also a minimalist landscape. Beyond the plants, we have mountains and the Pacific ocean. Don’t see the ocean? It’s the band of darker gray, at the bottom, on the left side.
