Mall Hula – Honolulu, Hawaii

In addition to palm trees, nothing says Hawaii to me than a good hula show. Usually, there are a plethora of performances throughout the week. However, the COVID-induced decrease in tourist activity had reduced their numbers.

Luckily, during my many walks through the Royal Hawaiian Center mall, I happened on a performance. I did a few quick walk-by snaps.

The audience seating was packed, and I opted to stay only a couple of minutes. I made a note to myself to come earlier for a future show. I did, however, manage to capture good happy expressions from a decent angle.
