We are in the heart of the San Antonio River Walk. It’s remarkably quiet and peaceful in the morning, a shocking contrast to the tourist-filled party atmosphere at night.
Tourists will transform these walkways in a few hours, with steadily increasing traffic throughout the day. Capturing such a quiet scene was a treat and a change from my people-filled urban landscapes.
I used Fujifilm’s versatile 16-80mm lens, though I framed this in a near-classic 49mm equivalent setting. Neither wide nor telephoto, this focal length captures what the eye sees.
