It was an unusually early dinner, but since we were down on South Congress, my wife and I ate at Home Slice. This location is the original, which I haven’t been to in ages — we frequent their north restaurant. Home Slice is my favorite pizzeria in Austin, and I often blog about their visually rich environment.
This place was unexpectedly small and wasn’t as visually compelling. Luckily, however, they had the same excellent pizza. Located in a prime spot in SoCo, they get crowded though our early meal beat the rush.
Seated in the back room, we had the place to ourselves. I focused on the candle, and the f2 lens on the Fujifilm X100V rendered a pleasant out-of-focus effect.
