While I’ve featured the Empire State Building in some previous posts (here and here), and will in a future post, I didn’t have time to explore the building up close. I contemplated diverting from my plan for a quick visit, but it wasn’t possible.
I did capture a glimpse of the icon, however. Shooting slivers of the structure atop lesser buildings as I walked north. So unique is its design that it’s easy to recognize.
I don’t recall the streets where I capture these. Referencing a map and backtracking, I was probably near the vicinity of 32nd and Broadway. I was on my way to my next photographic destination, which I’ll talk about tomorrow.
