Las Vegas resorts might be famous for themed hotels and architecture that look Italian or even Roman festooned with sculptures, but there is an elegant and modern side, too. City Center comprises the Aria and a few other hotels and condos that create a thoroughly high-end urban aesthetic.

The first picture shows the walkway to the Aria and some of the surrounding towers.

The Vdara is part of the City Center development. While The Cosmopolitan is not part of the same development, it borders it on the north and fits into the modern aesthetic.

The curved sweep is the main entrance for the Aria. I couldn’t resist doing a motion blur of a vehicle arriving, created hand-held courtesy of image stabilization.
