Modest Accommodations

Entrance, Planet Hollywood – Las Vegas, Nevada

The Las Vegas Strip has a whole range of accommodations. From low-end budget motels in the outskirts that may not be very safe to the luxurious resorts like Aria and Bellagio. Planet Hollywood appears to be in the lower-middle range, judging from the lobby and restaurants.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, and I often prefer low-fuss fast casual establishments to fancy and expensive restaurants. I haven’t stayed at Planet Hollywood, but the pictures of the rooms look pretty good.

I like the bright and colorful LED lights at the entrance. They are not quite as cool as neon but serve a similar purpose.

Pin-up Pizza - Las Vegas, Nevada

Continuing south along the Miracle Mile Shops, connected to Planet Hollywood, Pin-Up Pizza attracted my attention. Pizza and pin-ups sounded like an enticing combination, and I love pizza. But I was already full, and it was late at night. I opted for a snapshot instead.
