Continuing north a few blocks from yesterday’s urban night blur, we are at the corner of Rue de Richelieu and Rue de Montpensier. I had no idea what Bruce Field was; it’s just a convenient identifier for this picture. I wanted to create a motion blur of this couple crossing the street.
Since I casually snap pictures as I walk the city, I often have no idea where I am. I’m specifically targeting only the big landmarks; everything else is a bonus and captured via spot observation. Google Maps is my key to reconstructing my walking path.
The location of this picture was easy to deduce since I can look up Bruce Field. Though, expectedly, they have multiple locations. What appears like a fancy clothing store is reasonably accessible. Their prices on the website seem lower than expected, given this character-filled storefront in a great part of town.

Really like that photo. Motion blur as such doesn’t interest me, but in this case it gets the two people crossing the street out of the way of the architecture and superb colors.
