I talked yesterday about a cornucopia of cafes I discovered on Rue de Pont Neuf; conveniently, that’s the street where my hotel was located. I explored half a block north and have three more cafes to show you.
As you can see, each one is unique, giving the customer choices. I wonder how serious Parisians are about finding the perfect place. Or do they go to multiple? Beyond the interior and exterior styling, there’s the food, of course — so many factors to consider.
Although each cafe looks distinct, you can see common elements. There are often sidewalk tables and chairs under an awning with a choice of interior seating. Interestingly, while the places look different, the chairs are very similar — it’s almost like some company has a monopoly on them.
