While you’ll probably agree there is a warm glow, you might disagree with me on simplicity. After all, the beautiful stone architecture looks pretty fancy. However, we are in the Palace of Versailles, and as you will see in the coming days, this is as simple as it gets.
As you can imagine, being the palace for French kings, there is a real tendency for things to be somewhat more blingy.
Given how different this area looks, I wonder if it was changed extensively in a renovation. Compositionally, I like the balance I achieved with a degree of perspective correction in post to make it just so. While I argue the architecture is simple, I can also claim the composition is simple in its approach.
