I have another fisheye image from the Royal Hawaiian Center shopping mall. The mall has at least two open-air atriums, if not more. I featured one yesterday from the food court. This is a different one. The architecture and the tree in the middle are not the same as the food court atrium.

Shooting upward like this is a bit more difficult than it looks, even with image stabilization. To keep the ISO as low as possible and optimize image quality, I shot with a slow shutter speed, 1/10 second in this case. However, I noticed that the in-body image stabilization is not as effective when the camera is facing upward.

I actually had a perspective like this from the food court atrium, which I liked better. Unfortunately, it wasn’t sharp. Not even AI sharpening could correct it effectively enough to pass my image quality control. This picture isn’t bad as a second choice.
